The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins fails with a takedown attempt.
Chavez misses with a head kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Chavez. Collins shrugs it off though.
Chavez throws a leg kick which misses Collins's front leg but catches the back leg as Collins tries to avoid it.
Chavez connects with an inside leg kick.
Chavez delivers a nice body kick.
Chavez throws a right and a left that Collins avoids nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Collins.
Collins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chavez.
Collins is breathing heavily.
Collins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chavez throws a head kick that Collins semi-blocks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Collins shoots in and drives through. Chavez sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zen Collins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick from Chavez lands but Collins takes it in his stride.
Chavez tries to clinch up but Collins circles away and keeps his distance.
Chavez connects with a leg kick. Collins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chavez throwing shots but Collins is blocking nicely.
Collins seems to have got his legs back now.
Chavez is controlling the pace.
I looks like Chavez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hugo Chavez was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Collins counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Chavez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Collins doesn't defend quickly enough and Chavez has managed to lock this one up! Can Collins escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chavez on a fantastic submission victory.
