Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance Rock!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock tries for a takedown but Black circles away easily
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.

and Black counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Black.
Valky Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Rock.
Rock looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Black is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rock wants to get back to striking at distance but Black won't allow it.

Black tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rock just stands there and leans against the cage.

Black has Rock pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rock manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lance Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Black throws a good cross that connects.
Rock is trying desperately to land a takedown but Black is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rock.

Rock stops a takedown attempt from Black.

Black ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Black no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Black throws a series of punches but Rock avoids them all with ease.

enabling Black to counter with a crisp jab.

and Black counters with a left and a right that stings Rock.
Black is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Rock throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.

Black lands with a nice combination. Rock backs away looking to recover.

The fighters circle momentarily. Black darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rock chopping away at his opponent's legs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rock.

Black throws a nice looking combination but Rock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Black lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Black.

Black is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rock asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Rock is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Black knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lance Rock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Black stalks Rock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rock's face. Rock staggers backwards, shaken.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Black sprawls well. Black wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rock gets slowly back to his feet.

Black instigates a clinch.
Black will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rock up against the cage.

Black decides to pull guard.
Rock wants to pass the guard but Black is keeping the position.

Rock won't allow Black to get back to his feet.
Rock wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rock drops back, looking for a kneebar! Black looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Black looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Black!
Rock is trying to control Black's posture but Black avoids it.
Black creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rock sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Black decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Rock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but Rock persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.
Rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valky Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Rock.
Black throws a right and a left that Rock avoids nicely.
Rock is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Black parries the strikes from Rock easily there. Rock is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Black to escape.

Black tries to hold on but Rock postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rock with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rock cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rock is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Black to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Black shrugs it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Valky Black.
I think Black has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
