Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pannoi Boon Ta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yousei Kobiashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kobiashi has chosen Shinobi vs The Dragon as his entrance music. Yousei Kobiashi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pannoi Boon Ta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yousei Kobiashi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon Ta throws a sloppy head kick
and Kobiashi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boon Ta misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boon Ta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kobiashi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Boon Ta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kobiashi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boon Ta thows a body shot but no joy.
Boon Ta clinches.
Kobiashi is looking to control Boon Ta's arms but Boon Ta gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kobiashi has his back to the ropes.
Boon Ta tries a knee to the head but Kobiashi blocks it.
Kobiashi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Boon Ta wants to get back to striking at distance but Kobiashi won't allow it.
Boon Ta manages to break the clinch.
Boon Ta moves out of range of the body kick from Kobiashi.
Boon Ta has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boon Ta there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kobiashi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Boon Ta is breathing heavily.
Boon Ta closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Pannoi Boon Ta has been cut.
Pannoi Boon Ta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooh!!! Kobiashi has knocked Boon Ta down with a huge combo! Kobiashi steps away and waves a wobbly Boon Ta back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Boon Ta walks straight into a right hand from Kobiashi - that's dropped him! Kobiashi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Boon Ta from any more punishment! Boon Ta complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yousei Kobiashi!
