PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marius Zaromskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zaromskis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 5FDP-Meet the monster. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaromskis rushes Davis and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Davis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zaromskis pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Zaromskis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Davis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zaromskis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Marius Zaromskis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Davis.
Zaromskis is pressed up against the ropes. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zaromskis down to the mat. Zaromskis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Davis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zaromskis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Davis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zaromskis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
