PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krispin Karriker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karriker comes to the ring accompanied by On Your Knees. Roy Rage told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Rage throws a head kick that half lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Rage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rage shoots in and drives through. Karriker sprawls well.
A nice combination there by Karriker.
Rage throws a series of punches but Karriker avoids them all with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rage.
Karriker closes the distance looking to clinch
and Rage counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Karriker tries to clinch up but Rage circles away and keeps his distance.

Nice takedown defense from Karriker. No joy for Rage on that attempt.

Karriker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Rage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Karriker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rage has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Karriker's face.
Rage lands a big shot there that rocks Karriker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Karriker holds on to Rage as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Rage connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Karriker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground.

Karriker tries to hold on but Rage pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rage is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Rage extends the arm and Karriker is forced to tap!
