Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eigo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Eigo tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva throws a shot from downtown. Eigo moves away and avoids it.

Silva works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mike Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Eigo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Eigo is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Eigo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and Eigo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. Eigo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Eigo seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Eigo counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Eigo to acknowledge the strikes.

Eigo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva tries to pass to full mount but Eigo defends it.

Eigo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eigo is working Silva over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Silva lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Eigo falls backwards - clearly groggy! Silva dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
