Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Gaziev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Durandin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKLCQvQohGI. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaziev gets caught flat footed, as Durandin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Durandin stopping the sweep attempt from Gaziev.
Durandin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gaziev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durandin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Durandin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Durandin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Durandin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Durandin pushes down on Gaziev's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Durandin is controlling the pace.

Durandin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gaziev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Durandin.

Durandin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Durandin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Durandin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Durandin decides to stand and escape the position.

Durandin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Gaziev seems a little lost for a moment, as Durandin dominates the positioning.

Durandin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Durandin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Durandin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gaziev is trying to escape and Durandin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gaziev is forced to tap! Nice work there by Durandin! Very nice indeed!
