Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joern Otto Bondesen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Rompevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joern Otto Bondesen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikhail Rompevsky!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rompevsky clinches up against the cage.
Rompevsky tries to pull guard but Bondesen holds him up against the cage and eventually Rompevsky drops back down to his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Rompevsky's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bondesen tries to work over Rompevsky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bondesen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rompevsky blocks a body shot from Bondesen.
Bondesen missing with knees to the body.
Rompevsky is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rompevsky wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bondesen tries to work over Rompevsky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bondesen tries to stall but Rompevsky uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Rompevsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rompevsky closes the distance and pushes Bondesen back into the cage.
Rompevsky gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bondesen struggles to land a body shot inside as Rompevsky controls his hands.

Bondesen tightens his grip and picks Rompevsky up, before dumping him to the ground. Rompevsky manages to land in guard.
Bondesen wants to stand but Rompevsky is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bondesen stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rompevsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Rompevsky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bondesen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bondesen counters with a straight right hand.
Mikhail Rompevsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rompevsky throws a one two combo.
Rompevsky tries to clinch but Bondesen moves away
and Bondesen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rompevsky gets in close and tags Bondesen with a short punch that almost sends Bondesen to the mat! Oh Bondesen is in big trouble! He turns his back on Rompevsky, trying to create some distance but Rompevsky rushes him, striking wildly and Bondesen goes down! The referee tackles Rompevsky into the cage to end the fight! Rompevsky is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikhail Rompevsky!
