Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cory Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Average (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Average is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Average has his takedown stuffed
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Average forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Average tries for a takedown. No joy.
Average is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cory Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Average.

Jones tightens his grip and picks Average up, before dumping him to the ground. Average manages to land in guard.

Average might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Average is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow.

Jones rolls with it to try and escape but Average cranks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
