Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael McKeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McKeon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to T.I- Yeah ya know. Silva has chosen Three Days Grace (Riot) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots and misses
and McKeon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McKeon is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Silva fails with the takedown

and McKeon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Silva keeping full guard, as McKeon tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McKeon passes into half guard.
McKeon wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.

McKeon is working for a submission of some sort.
McKeon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McKeon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Silva defend it? McKeon steps over the head and cranks it - Silva is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McKeon!
