Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grace has chosen Doggystyle as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grace comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wallace throws an ugly left hook that misses

Steven Wallace has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Grace feints and as Wallace raises his hands in defense, Grace changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Grace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wallace is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Steven Wallace just wasn't active enough.

Grace shoots in and gets a takedown into Wallace's guard.
Wallace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Grace manages to get himself to full guard.
Wallace slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Steven Wallace.
Grace scores with a jab to the head.

Grace drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Grace postures up in Wallace's guard and throws a big left but Wallace blocks it.

Max Grace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Grace loads up on a big right hand but Wallace slips the punch.

Grace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Grace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wallace can't escape the position.
Wallace is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Grace has control of Wallace's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wallace regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The referee warns Wallace that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Grace is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wallace has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wallace!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wallace sprawls well initially but Grace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Steven Wallace's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wallace has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grace is working away from the top position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Grace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
