The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obrien connects with a body shot.
Lundin throws a poor cross that misses
and Lundin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Robert Lundin has been cut.
Obrien gets a clinch.
Lundin throws a knee to the head but misses.
Obrien breaks from the clinch.
Lundin throws a right hand that Obrien ducks under and follows up with a left that Obrien also avoids with ease.
Obrien throws a head kick but Lundin moves out of range.
Lundin walks into a straight right hand from Obrien.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lundin connects with a body shot that sends Obrien's belly button to the back.
Lundin throws a combination that misses
and Obrien connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lundin throws a head kick that misses
and Obrien counters by moving into the clinch.
Lundin has a couple of punches blocked by Obrien.
Lundin throws an elbow but it misses.
Obrien pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Obrien misses with a body shot.
Lundin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Obrien throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Obrien takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lundin misses with a hook
and Obrien counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lundin throws out a loose jab but Obrien uses good head movement to avoid it.
Obrien thuds a left hand into Lundin's body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Obrien connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Lundin! He's out on his feet! Obrien rushes in and drops Lundin with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Konan Obrien!
