The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards looks to land a combination. Momo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Gogo Momo has been cut.
Edwards tries a head kick but it misses.

and Momo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Momo dodges the punch combination from Edwards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Momo moves into full guard.

Edwards postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Edwards throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Momo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Momo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Momo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Edwards has his hands clasped together but Momo extends an breaks Edwards's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Momo.
