Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Lianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagal shoots in looking for a takedown. Lianenko tries to sprawl out of it but Seagal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lianenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Seagal looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Seagal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lianenko pushes Seagal off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Lianenko stuffs the takedown.
Seagal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lianenko tries to avoid it but Seagal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lianenko to the ground. Lianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fedor Lianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Seagal.

so Seagal counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Seagal has gone for a leg lock! Lianenko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Seagal's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lianenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seagal on the ground.
Lianenko is looking to stand up but Seagal won't let him.
Seagal has his hands on Lianenko's head, controlling the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Seagal trying to keep a closed guard but Lianenko is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Steven Seagal.
Lianenko lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Steven Seagal has been cut.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Seagal.
Lianenko pushes Seagal away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Seagal gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seagal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lianenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Seagal landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Seagal has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lianenko is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Seagal yanks on the arm and Lianenko is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Seagal.
