The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brashear swings widly with a right hand
and Reva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brashear misses with a lunging right hand
and Reva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Donald Brashear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Reva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Reva wants to pass the guard but Brashear is keeping the position.

Reva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Reva tries to free his leg and advance position but Brashear is retaining full guard.

Reva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Reva drops back looking for a leg! Brashear is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brashear manages to kick Reva off! Reva jumps back into Brashear's guard.

Reva stops Brashear from standing up.

Reva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Reva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Brashear screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Reva! Nice submission victory there!
