These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molotov tries to land a front kick but Saluamba steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fight stays on the outside here - Saluamba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Molotov misses with a head kick.
Andrei Molotov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saluamba darts in trying to clinch
and Molotov counters with a series of strikes. Saluamba will be more careful next time no doubt.
Molotov throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Saluamba's head.

It looks like Dappa Saluamba has been cut.
Saluamba throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Molotov counters with a head kick. That will keep Saluamba thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Molotov lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saluamba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Molotov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Molotov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Molotov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Saluamba. Saluamba circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Saluamba has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Molotov lands a high kick!

Saluamba is rocked!

That has opened up Dappa Saluamba's cut even more.
Saluamba is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Molotov doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Saluamba crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Saluamba's bad books for that mishap!
