The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Larsson counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Maks Smirnov has been cut.
A low kick from Larsson is predictable there

and Smirnov counters with a shoot takedown. Larsson fights it but they end up in guard.

Larsson kicks Smirnov off and gets to his feet.

Smirnov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Larsson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smirnov has managed to get both his arms back between Larsson's legs - danger averted.
