Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Terkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Here i come. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maurice Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Konstantin Terkin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terkin tries to clinch

and Brown counters with a takedown into side control.
Brown looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Terkin wants to get back to his feet but Brown drags him back down.
Brown working away.
Terkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Terkin is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.

Terkin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Terkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Terkin struggling a bit here.
Terkin trying to control but Brown flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Terkin manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brown's guard. Nice work there by Terkin.
Terkin tries to stand but Brown is controlling from the bottom.
Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Terkin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Terkin works over Brown with some ground and pound from guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Terkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard.
Terkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terkin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Konstantin Terkin.
Terkin tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Terkin's guard.
Terkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Terkin throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Terkin clinches up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Brown is trying to drag Terkin to the mat but Terkin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Terkin content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Terkin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brown backwards.

Terkin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Terkin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Terkin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Terkin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Brown with a nice head shot there.

Terkin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brown is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Terkin.
Brown cracks Terkin with a big elbow.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Terkin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Terkin tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Brown avoids the attempt from Terkin to control.
Brown landing punches.
Brown is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Terkin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brown cracks Terkin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Terkin tries to hold on but Brown postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maurice Brown dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Terkin wants to clinch but Brown slips to the side

and Brown counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Terkin's guard now.
Brown could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Terkin pulls Brown in to control the position.
Terkin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Terkin wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Brown missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Terkin is pulling down on Brown's head to control his posture.
Brown throws a big right hand that misses.

Konstantin Terkin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Terkin wants to clinch but Brown slips to the side

and Brown counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Terkin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Brown throwing strikes but missing.
Terkin wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brown is now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brown misses with a head shot. Terkin uses the momentum to regain guard.
Terkin is looking to sweep but instead, Brown has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brown working over Terkin with some ground and pound. Terkin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Terkin has a hand on Brown's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Brown takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Brown postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Terkin looks a forlorn figure.

And that's the end of the fight!
Maurice Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
