The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Jamison.
Garcia closes the distance but Jamison moves to the side
letting Jamison counter with a right hand.

Jamison decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jamison throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Garcia has hold of Jamison's hands but Jamison slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jamison seems to be working for a kimura but Garcia defends the submission attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jamison slips a nice elbow through Garcia's hands, connecting with Garcia's forehead.

Jamison is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jamison in particular looking to stall.
Garcia is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jamison scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jamison uses his free foot to push down on Garcia's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Garcia.

Jamison goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Garcia is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jamison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Garcia throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ribero Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Garcia gets caught flat footed, as Jamison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Jamison stands up over Garcia, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jamison advances position into side control!

Jamison is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Garcia looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jamison gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Garcia is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jamison lets go of the hold and Garcia can pop his arm back in it's socket.
