Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Von Reinar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Reinar has chosen Iron Maiden - Fear of the dark as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Von Reinar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gaines looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Von Reinar steps into range and cracks Gaines with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Gaines flops backwards and Von Reinar dives into his guard looking to finish!

Von Reinar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Gaines is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Von Reinar drops back looking for a leg! Gaines is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gaines manages to kick Von Reinar off! Von Reinar jumps back into Gaines's guard.
Gaines seems to have got his legs back now.
Gaines knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Von Reinar on the ground.
Von Reinar postures up in Gaines's guard and throws a big left but Gaines blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
