Bellfoot comes into the arena with Gugmang giatay blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bellfoot bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
white manages to get back to half guard.
Bellfoot is nestled in close to white, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
white is trying to maintain the position but Bellfoot is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

white takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
