The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kay throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Agostinho.
Kay connects with a leg kick. Agostinho looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kay tries to land a front kick but Agostinho steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Agostinho takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kay throws a right hand that Agostinho ducks under and follows up with a left that Agostinho also avoids with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Agostinho tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That was a close round but I would say that Gilson Domingos Rezende Agostinho will probably get the nod.

Kay gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Agostinho counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Agostinho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Agostinho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kay moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kay.

Kay keeps Agostinho at a distance using the push kick.

Kay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Agostinho takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Agostinho takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Kay is trying to get an arm triangle but Agostinho is defending well.

Kay stands up and beckons Agostinho to his feet.

and Agostinho counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kay's knee momentarily.
Kay throws a series of punches but Agostinho moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Kay counters with a series of strikes. Agostinho will be more careful next time no doubt.

Agostinho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Agostinho has his foot on Kay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kay works his way back into a safe position though.
