Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Monton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Cali Swag District - Teach Me How To Dougie. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Monton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jones is looking to escape.

Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Monton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones falls off balance throwing a combination

and Monton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Monton.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Monton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Monton counters with an outside leg kick.

Monton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Monton counters by clinching up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones.

Monton breaks from the clinch.
A head kick misses from Monton.
Jones is looking to slow Monton down with leg kicks.

and Monton counters with a straight right hand.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Monton counters with a one-two to the body.

and Monton moves into the clinch.
Monton lands a hook to the side of the head.

Monton jumps into guard, dragging Jones to the mat.
Monton throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Monton pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Monton shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Monton drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Monton tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Monton drops back down to his feet.
Monton is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Monton has Jones pressed against the cage, preventing Jones from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Jones throws a body punch but Monton moves out of range.
Monton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Monton stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Monton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monton lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Monton lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
