Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toby MacAllistar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa tries for a takedown but MacAllistar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
MacAllistar looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Balboa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MacAllistar.
Balboa throws a sloppy head kick
and MacAllistar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacAllistar tries to clinch but fails miserably

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Balboa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. MacAllistar eats them both and turns towards Balboa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Toby MacAllistar has been cut.

Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balboa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Balboa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. MacAllistar eats them both and turns towards Balboa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Oh MacAllistar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Toby MacAllistar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Balboa tries to close the distance and clinch but MacAllistar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Balboa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MacAllistar is controlling him.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

MacAllistar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than MacAllistar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
MacAllistar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Balboa sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Balboa has a hand on MacAllistar's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. MacAllistar takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toby MacAllistar.
I think Balboa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
