The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross shoots in but no luck this time.
Kraiden misses with a body punch

and Ross counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kraiden won't be happy with that.
Kraiden prevents Ross from improving position.
Kraiden is trying to escape the position but Ross is controlling the position.
Kraiden gets back to half guard.
Ross looks gassed!

Kraiden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ross pulls his head out easily.

Kraiden actively working from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross is pressing down on Kraiden's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kraiden is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kraiden wants to improve his position but Ross is controlling well.
Kraiden regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kraiden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ross gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ross wants to control from the top but Kraiden keeps moving.

Kraiden is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ross frees his head nicely. Oh but Kraiden has switched to an armbar! Ross is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
