The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law throws a nice looking combination but Askerov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Law throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Law misses with a combination
and Askerov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hidekai Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Law throws a left and a right that both miss
and Askerov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Law throws a right hand that Askerov ducks under and follows up with a left that Askerov also avoids with ease.
Law steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Askerov. That one must have hurt.
Law avoids a punch combination nicely.
Law misses with a double jab
and Askerov counters with a good low kick that Law was not able to check.
Law throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Askerov counters with a good, hard body kick but Law shrugs it off.

and Askerov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

It looks like Hidekai Law has been cut.
Law is breathing heavily.
Askerov throws a sloppy head kick and Law moves out of range easily.
Askerov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Law has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Law is rocked!
Askerov and Law are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Askerov throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Law into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Askerov knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
