Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Holch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by Birdman - I Run This ft. Lil Wayne . Holch has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Sheldon Penn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Holch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Holch.
Holch looks gassed!
Penn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Holch!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Penn has hold of Holch's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Holch manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Penn working for a guillotine from mount but Holch is in no mood to give up.

Penn moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Holch has worked his arm free - good work by Holch!

Penn works to advance to full mount. Holch defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holch tries to hold on but Penn pushes him away.

Penn working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Holch can't escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Penn has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Holch is forced to tap!
