The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Huyssteen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Well, if van Huyssteen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
van Huyssteen wants to pass the guard but Yen is defending well.

BOOM! van Huyssteen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That has opened up Donnie Yen's cut even more.
van Huyssteen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Yen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Yen shrugs it off.
Yen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The cut above Donnie Yen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

van Huyssteen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Yen blocking the ground and pound.
van Huyssteen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
van Huyssteen working for a guillotine from mount but Yen is in no mood to give up.
van Huyssteen cracks Yen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Donnie Yen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Donnie Yen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johan van Huyssteen!
