Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mufasa Boombata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mufasa Boombata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julle Bulle!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boombata shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bulle's guard.
Bulle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boombata controls the pace.
Boombata with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boombata passes Bulle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boombata tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boombata has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Boombata postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Boombata is staying tight to Bulle's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Boombata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bulle takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bulle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bulle tries to bench press Boombata off him but Boombata keeps the position.

Bulle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

You can see the frustration on Bulle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boombata wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bulle keeps working.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bulle is breathing heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Bulle throws a shot from downtown. Boombata moves away and avoids it.
Bulle misses with a few strikes there.
Boombata tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bulle was well out of range. Poor timing from Boombata.
Boombata shoots in and gets a takedown into Bulle's guard.
Boombata not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Boombata wants to control from the top but Bulle keeps moving.
Bulle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Boombata seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bulle for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mufasa Boombata just wasn't active enough.
Boombata shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Boombata was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boombata lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bulle hang on?
Mufasa Boombata is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Boombata's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Mufasa Boombata overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We're going to have a standup here because Mufasa Boombata wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bulle tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boombata counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Boombata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bulle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boombata slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boombata has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight!
Mufasa Boombata showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Boombata has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
