Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sawyer Griffiths (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lara has chosen Furious Angels as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alejandro Lara will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sawyer Griffiths!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alejandro Lara!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lara shoots in but Griffiths avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Griffiths.
Lara looks gassed!
Lara is trying to improve his position.
Griffiths in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Griffiths decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lara to his feet.
Griffiths shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lara pinned against the cage. Lara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Griffiths throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lara's waist but Griffiths gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffiths off to one side.
A head kick misses from Griffiths.
Lara tries for a takedown but Griffiths circles away easily
and Griffiths counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lara won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffiths tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Griffiths tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lara's legs.
Griffiths stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Griffiths darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Griffiths is tying to control. Lara wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lara preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Lara is looking to improve his position.
Griffiths is trying to control the action in half guard but Lara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lara gets back to full guard.
Griffiths trying to control but Lara is working from the bottom.

Lara looking for a sweep. Not yet Lara, not yet.
Lara is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Griffiths rolls with it to try and escape but Lara cranks on the arm and Griffiths is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
