Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Routalempi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Dingdown told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Routalempi.
Dingdown misses with an uppercut. Routalempi saw that one coming.
Dingdown listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Pekka Routalempi has been cut.
Dingdown swings for the body but Routalempi moves out of range.
Routalempi with a poor takedown
and Dingdown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dingdown scores with a jab to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dingdown sends Routalempi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dingdown is motioning to the referee to let Routalempi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Routalempi is rocked!
Dingdown Throws a clean left jab. Dingdown Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Routalempi's chin! Routalempi crumbles to the ground and Dingdown follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Dingdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ben Dingdown!
