Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laiho's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lookin' Out My Backdoor. Jones has chosen yes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiho stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Laiho throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Laiho misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Alexi Laiho has been cut.
Jones catches Laiho with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Alexi Laiho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laiho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Laiho.

and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nice uppercut lands for Laiho. That snapped Jones's head back.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Laiho will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Laiho had a free shot at his head there.

and Jones counters with a left to the body.
Laiho shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Laiho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laiho swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Laiho takes a shot to the head.
Jones lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jones jumps guard but Laiho stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Laiho misses with a punch on the inside.
Laiho throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.
Laiho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Laiho thinking.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.

and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jones landing with the ground and pound.
Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

You get the feeling that Laiho really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Laiho but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alexi Laiho's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Laiho is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexi Laiho's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
