The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morris throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Morris counters with a nice uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Some wild striking there from Morris.
Pardy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morris.
Morris wants to clinch.
Morris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pardy counters with a two punch combo.
Pardy misses with a head kick.
Pardy catches Morris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A nice leg kick lands there from Morris.
Pardy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Morris's head.
Morris shoots in but no luck this time.

and Pardy counters with a series of strikes. Morris will be more careful next time no doubt.
Morris could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pardy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Pardy throws a series of punches but Morris avoids them all with ease.
Oh Morris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Morris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pardy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Morris misses with a takedown attempt
and Pardy counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morris is breathing heavily.
Pardy measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Morris! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
