Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Couture looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang lands a nice looking body shot.
Bang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Couture's calf.
Couture gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bang counters with a stiff right hand.
Bang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Bang thuds a left hand into Couture's body.
Nice straight punches there by Bang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bang.

Bang is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Couture rather than just go for the knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bang is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Couture had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jeez, Randy Couture's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
