Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Wesker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wesker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Wesker controls the action.
Silva is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wesker is keeping busy.
Silva tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wesker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Wesker closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Wesker pushes Silva against the ropes but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wesker dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Wesker's head and hops out.

Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wesker takes a step back to recover.
Wesker shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wesker is working away from the top position though.

Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Silva blocks a leg kick.

Wesker closes the distance and clinches.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wesker blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Wesker avoids the damage to the body.

Wesker has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Silva regains guard immediately.
Wesker stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Wesker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wesker is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Albert Wesker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Wesker tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wesker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wesker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Silva misses with a hook. Wesker ducked under it nicely.

It looks like Albert Wesker has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wesker fails to land the takedown.
Wesker tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wesker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Wesker.

Wesker throws an elbow but Silva slips to the side and avoids it well.
Wesker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Silva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Wesker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silva is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Wesker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wesker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wesker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Silva will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Wesker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wesker is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Wesker circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.

Silva wants to break free but Wesker has control.
Wesker lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not.

Wesker has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! Wesker dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Albert Wesker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Wesker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
