Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Nygma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and North Dakota Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygma comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy Train by Ozzy Ozbourne. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as North Dakota Wrestler enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wrestler feints and as Nygma raises his hands in defense, Wrestler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wrestler lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Wrestler drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nygma dives on top into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nygma accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nygma wants to control from the top but Wrestler keeps moving.

Wrestler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Wrestler has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nygma is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wrestler.

Wrestler has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nygma has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wrestler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nygma swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nygma is looking to escape.
Wrestler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nygma keeps working.
Nygma moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Nygma looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wrestler is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wrestler wants to control from the top but Nygma keeps moving.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. North Dakota Wrestler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nygma throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wrestler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nygma keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nygma lands a nice hook to Wrestler's body. Wrestler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nygma wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
