Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan White !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John McClaine!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in for a takedown but McClaine shows good takedown defense.

White scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McClaine tries to buck White off but White is having none of it.
McClaine is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

White is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McClaine has escaped the position, nice work there.

McClaine darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

McClaine is working for a kimura but White is defending it quite comfortably.

and White counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McClaine's guard now.

McClaine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McClaine keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.

McClaine looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but White puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
McClaine is looking to improve his position.
White slows the pace down in half guard.
White wants to take a breather but McClaine is having none of it.
White throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McClaine is refusing to be controlled, as White sits in half guard.
White tries to pass to full mount but McClaine defends it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McClaine doesn't succeed with the takedown

and White counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bryan White dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and McClaine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in White 's guard now.
McClaine looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

and McClaine counters with a shoot takedown. White fights it but they end up in guard.
White can't keep his opponent in guard - McClaine advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
McClaine thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
White is refusing to be controlled, as McClaine sits in half guard.

White is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McClaine scores with a couple of nice shots.
McClaine content to control rather than advance.
White on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McClaine.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McClaine doesn't succeed with the takedown

and White counters with a single leg into guard. McClaine didn't expect that.

White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
White won't allow McClaine to get back to his feet.

White advances to half guard.
White works his way into full mount!

White looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
White scores with a couple of good head shots there.
White controlling the pace for now.

White stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Bryan White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McClaine shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and White counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McClaine!

White is in the full mount, landing strikes.
White can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McClaine is looking to escape.
McClaine is trying to escape the mount but White keeps good control and instead manages to take McClaine's back.
McClaine grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
White controlling well, preventing McClaine from escaping the position.

White has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McClaine has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

McClaine manages to reverse the position and now he's in White 's guard. Nice work there by McClaine.

White has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McClaine doesn't defend quickly enough and White has managed to lock this one up! Can McClaine escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to White on a fantastic submission victory.
