Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Bach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Slick!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bach scores with a nice head shot.

Bach connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Slick looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bach ducks under a wild hook from Slick.
Slick swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Slick counters with a single leg into guard. Bach didn't expect that.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Slick prevents Bach from standing back up.

Slick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bach stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Slick decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rick Slick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Slick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bach sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slick somewhat.
Slick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bach tries to avoid it but Slick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bach to the ground. Bach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Slick cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rick Slick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Slick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
