Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snabbo Smido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonathan Weed has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonathan Weed seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Weed misses the target.
Smido throws an overhand right that lands on Weed's shoulder, as Weed tries to avoid the shot.
Snabbo Smido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A nice leg kick lands there from Weed.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Weed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smido has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smido and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smido accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Weed avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Smido sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Weed's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smido thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Weed's head.
Weed has hold of Smido's hands but Smido slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Weed wants to improve his position but Smido is controlling well.
Weed wants to get back to his feet.
Smido sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Weed defending well though.
Smido wants to pass to mount but Weed is defending the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
