The crowd seem to be enjoying Vaganov's choice of entrance music: Грот - Рубежи. Mikolaj Kopernik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopernik dives in and grabs Vaganov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vaganov pushes down on Kopernik's head and hops out.

Kopernik shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vaganov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kopernik wants to control from the top but Vaganov keeps moving.

Kopernik has gone for a leg lock! Vaganov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kopernik's guard.
Kopernik has Vaganov pulled in close to control his posture.

Vaganov is looking to stand up but Kopernik won't let him.
Kopernik has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikolaj Kopernik wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Vaganov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vaganov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kopernik drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Vaganov follows Kopernik to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
