Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liquid Paper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liquid Paper!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Paper to counter with a crisp jab.

and Paper counters with a straight right hand.
Fury takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fury throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Paper counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fury's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fury keeping moving, preventing Paper from controlling successfully.
Paper won't allow Fury to sweep him here.
Paper advances position into side control!

Paper decides to stand back up.
Paper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fury is fending him off so far but Paper persists. Nope, Fury circles away and we're back to standing.
Fury shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Paper decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fury's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fury is looking to sweep but instead, Paper has passed into half guard.

Paper stands up out of the half guard.
Fury is looking to clinch.
Paper doesn't manage to clinch there - Fury circles away.
Paper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fury sprawls well. Fury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paper gets slowly back to his feet.
Paper throws a hook to the side of Fury's head but Fury sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fury shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paper defends it nicely.

Paper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Paper stands and steps away. Fury gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Paper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fury moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paper. Fury does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Paper counters with a takedown into side control.
Fury is breathing heavily.
Paper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fury is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fury is looking for a sweep.
Fury looks to move to half guard but instead Paper has passed into mount! Damn!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fury can't escape the position.
Paper thowing shots but they're missing.
Fury is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Paper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Paper stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
A good leg kick by Paper.
Paper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Paper tried to score with a low kick but Fury checks it.

Paper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fury was covering up waiting for the punch and Paper finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fury on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fury tries to get out of the position.
Fury preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Paper gets to his feet - Fury follows without any prompting.
Fury has his takedown stuffed

and Paper counters with a shoot takedown. Fury fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Paper gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Paper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Paper is stalling in the full guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Fury gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Paper to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Paper trying to control but Fury is working from the bottom.
Fury looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paper is one step ahead there.

Paper gets to his feet. Fury looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fury stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Paper.
Paper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Paper is breathing heavily.

Paper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fury tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Paper is in Fury's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paper won't allow Fury to get back to his feet.

Fury working for submissions but it's allowed Paper to get to half guard.
Paper prevents Fury from standing back up.
Paper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fury does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Paper stands up and beckons Fury to join him on the feet.

Paper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Paper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fury is wriggling around trying to escape.

Paper trying to control but Fury is having none of it.
Paper is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fury can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fury tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Paper looking to control and managing it successfully.
Paper is landing with some decent strikes but Fury is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Paper has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Paper prevents Fury from getting the reversal.
Fury avoids a series of strikes thrown by Paper.

Paper stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Paper closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Paper lands in his opponent's guard.

Fury throws his legs up looking for a submission but Paper uses it to pass to side control.
Fury knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Paper on the ground.

Paper is working to tighten is grip on Fury's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fury has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Paper is really squeezing tight and eventually Fury passes out! Paper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
