The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez moves to clinch but Dos Melanos breaks away
and Dos Melanos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dos Melanos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dos Melanos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chavez is trying to improve his position.
Chavez tries to escape but Dos Melanos is in control.

Dos Melanos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chavez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dos Melanos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chavez keeps working.
