PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Marceau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like The Beast has been cut.
Marceau throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beast's waist but Beast gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marceau off to one side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Beast has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Marceau is trying to keep an underhook but Beast manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Beast looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marceau with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
