Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JeanPierre Kusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Svenstroem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kusela comes into the arena with Paradise Lost - Small Town Boy blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusela closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Svenstroem to the mat! Svenstroem manages to get full guard.

Kusela passes easily into side control. Nice work.
An elbow from Kusela crashes against the mat.

Kusela cracks Svenstroem with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ground and pound from Kusela seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kusela works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Svenstroem is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kusela not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kusela connects with a nice short shot to Svenstroem's temple.

Svenstroem has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kusela. Oh but Svenstroem has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kusela goes limp - he's gone! Svenstroem jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
