Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Brownie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Oddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oddi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Iron Maiden - The Trooper. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie throws a lazy right hand but Oddi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brownie throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brownie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brownie scores with a decent looking hook.
Brownie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brownie rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Oddi counters with a single leg into guard. Brownie didn't expect that.

Oddi has gone for a leg lock! Brownie slips out almost immediately though and dives into Oddi's guard.

Oddi working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brownie has passed into half guard!

Brownie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Oddi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Brownie is working for a submission of some sort.

Oddi looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Oddi has a hand on Brownie's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Brownie takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Oddi is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Brownie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brownie prevents Oddi from getting the reversal.
Oddi wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Brownie is trying to stick to Oddi's back but Oddi is turning into Brownie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Brownie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Oddi.
Brownie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Oddi!
Oddi is trying to reverse the position but instead Brownie has taken his back - oops!

Oddi won't enjoy being in this position. Brownie looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Oddi is tapping - it's over boys! Brownie picks up the submission victory!
