Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Van Damn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damn takes a jab right on the kisser.
Van Damn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nakamura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Van Damn scrambles back to his feet.
Nakamura misses with a right hand
and Van Damn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nakamura looks to land a combination but Van Damn avoids it well.
Nakamura throws an off balance right hand
and Van Damn counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Daisuke Nakamura has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Van Damn lands with a kick to the temple. Nakamura shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Daisuke Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Damn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Van Damn! Nakamura is out on his feet! Van Damn rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nakamura is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nakamura is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Claude Van Damn!
