The incomparable musical genius that is Ready for war. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver swings away with a body shot that misses

and pacquiao counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

pacquiao looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Silver is trying to control but can't.

pacquiao looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Silver shoots and misses
and pacquiao makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

pacquiao throws a right and a left that Silver avoids nicely.
pacquiao lands with a nice combination. Silver backs away looking to recover.

Silver takes a jab right on the kisser.
Steve Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
pacquiao ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silver pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silver takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silver takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
pacquiao stalks Silver and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silver's face. Silver staggers backwards, shaken.
pacquiao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

pacquiao lands a nice looking body shot.
Silver is still on wobbly legs! Can pacquiao finish him?
pacquiao darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Silver's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles pacquiao before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
