The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson shoots in for a double leg but Polazzo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Erickson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Polazzo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Erickson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Polazzo's back instead.

Erickson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Polazzo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Erickson is looking to defend but Polazzo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Erickson! Polazzo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Erickson taps out and this one is all over!
