The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mounfield misses with an uppercut. Jabari saw that one coming.
Mounfield tries to clinch but Jabari is having none of it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mounfield.
Mounfield works the jab nicely.
Mounfield plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Mounfield goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mounfield lands with a thumping leg kick.

Jabari throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mounfield counters with a leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jabari falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mounfield makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jabari throws a shot from downtown. Mounfield moves away and avoids it.
Jabari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jabari lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Jabari misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mounfield.
Mounfield misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mounfield connects with a leg kick. Jabari looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mounfield goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Mounfield lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jabari's sensitive parts.

Mounfield slips a jab and a cross from Jabari.
Mounfield throws a head kick but Jabari moves out of range.
Jabari stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mounfield.

Mounfield feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jabaris jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mounfield tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jabari was well out of range. Poor timing from Mounfield.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mounfield thuds his right hand into Jabari's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mounfield lands with a nice combination. Jabari backs away looking to recover.

Mounfield dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jabari. That did some damage!
Mounfield lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jabari will feel that in the morning.
Mounfield turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Mounfield makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jabari really felt that one!
Jabari's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
