The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Howard misses its intended target.
McMorrow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Howard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McMorrow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Howard.
McMorrow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Howard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Sean McMorrow has been cut.

Howard is not content to let McMorrow control the position.

and McMorrow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Howard thinking.
McMorrow connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Jake Howard has been cut.

Howard sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks McMorrow to the ground! Howard dives into full mount looking to finish!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McMorrow checks a leg kick.
Howard connects with a body shot.
McMorrow lands a leg kick that knocks Howard off balance momentarily.
Jake Howard is winning the standup battle so far.
McMorrow blocks a head kick by Howard.
McMorrow dodges the punch combination from Howard.
A solid body kick from Howard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Sean McMorrow's cut even more.
McMorrow is breathing heavily.

McMorrow shoots in but no luck this time.
Howard cracks McMorrow with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Howard buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McMorrow drops his hands momentarily and Howard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howard throws a nice looking combination but McMorrow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McMorrow switches off momentarily and Howard cracks him with a monster right hand! McMorrow topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Howard dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Howard!
